Hi! I’m Giselle Rochford, the blogger behind the healthy food and lifestyle blog, Diary of an ExSloth. I began my blog in 2013 as a way to document my fitness journey and since then it has evolved into a space for sharing simple, dairy-free, whole food recipes, as well as tips for leading a healthy life.

I’m excited to be a part of Yoso’s community for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, as someone who doesn’t eat dairy, it’s nice to have so many choices when it comes to dairy-free alternatives to some of my favourite foods. I also love the fact that when I purchase Yoso products, I’m supporting a local Canadian brand.

Easy Soygo Watermelon & Rice Cake ‘Toast’


  • 2 watermelon slices
  • 2 brown rice cakes
  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp blueberries
  • 1 tbsp seeds and/or nuts
  • ¼ cup  blueberry Soygo yogurt
  • ¼ of an avocado, mashed
  • 1 1/2 tbsp peanut butter


For the watermelon toasts:

Spread 2 tbsp yogurt onto 1 watermelon slice and 1 tbsp peanut butter onto the other

Top yogurt covered watermelon with nuts and seeds and the other with blueberries

For the rice cake toasts:

Spread 2 tbsp yogurt onto one rice cake and mashed avocado onto the other

Top both with strawberry slices and drizzle yogurt topped rice cake with remaining ½ tbsp peanut butter
